Our goal is to provide a comprehensive yoga and mindfulness program for high school students in New York City. This program is designed to help students manage anxiety, stress, improve mental health, enhance focus, and develop physical well-being. With increasing concerns about mental health in schools, particularly after the pandemic, this program offers a solution that promotes emotional balance, resilience, and personal growth.
Mindful Options
Program Descriptions
These are the mindful movement options available every week. Each class is 15-45 minutes.
Mindful Services Offered
All yoga sessions will be conducted by certified yoga instructors.
Yoga sessions
This session focuses on stress relief, flexibility, breathing and physical well-being.
Mindfulness Training
This session contains breathing exercises, guided meditation, and techniques to improve mental focus anad emotional regulation.
Workshops
Focused on developing tools for resilience, self-care, and stress management, including how to apply mindfulness practices in daily life.
Teacher Training
Workshops for school staff to incorporate mindfulness practices into their classrooms.

Duration
Each Program runs for a semester (8-12 weeks) with the option for continuation based on demand.
Program Delivery
Sessions will be conducted by certified yoga and mindfulness instructors. The program can be delivered as a one-time session or as an ongoing after-school/lunch program. It can also be integrated into physical education or health curriculums.
